Sasha Northfield - up and down up and down - will be putting the magical mementos together and we’ll have them for sale at the Bowling Ball post-finals. Get creative. Get down. Get diiirty.
Thanks for changing the playoffs from Easter Sunday to the Thursday!! It was a tight race between my allegiance to my bowling family and meeting my blood family in Florida! Also, just want to say what a great time our team is having. Nice job Bubbles and Hungus.
I have to say that I am a little more than embarrassed after the poor showing at our sponsor’s bar after Tuesday’s game. Although, some of the blame must go on their own shoulders, for when we arrived, the door was locked.
Did they even know all four people were gonna show up and attempt to bring down the house?
In the future, can we please designate where the after party will be a little earlier in the week, so teams can plan their after-nights? Prior to the game Bubbles didn’t even know where it would be. With so many bowling thoughts rolling around up there, last minute decisions become split. Also, a little tip to the bar would be thoughtful as well (I seriously cannot avoid these awful puns, they just happen).
I also want to give a shout out to Spare Us for their superior sportsmanship. We squeaked it out by two whopping pins, but that team is one hell of a competitor.

No, not biggest loser as in “that Big Ern is such a loser.” Biggest loser like the lose some inches show on T.V. $25 to enter with a winner take all pot (at about $400 so far). Thursday Jan 10th is weigh in day at the office. April 10th is the day of reckoning. If you aren’t a patient at Jacobs, they need a doctor’s note approving your shrinking self. Come build up the cash prize if you dare, but don’t let this keep you from bulking up those bowling arms… See you at the lanes tomorrow.
